Singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were spotted getting cozy during a picnic date at a Santa Barbara park, just weeks before their one-year anniversary.
The pair were photographed lying close together on a blanket, with Perry’s five-year-old daughter Daisy, whom she shares with actor Orlando Bloom, also present at the outing. Perry kept it casual in a white T-shirt and khaki slacks, while Trudeau opted for an olive green outfit, both clearly dressing for a relaxed afternoon in the sun.
The outing comes days after Perry performed at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Los Angeles. Trudeau skipped Canada’s FIFA World Cup opener to attend Perry’s performance instead, later joking on X – “Sometimes supportive boyfriend duties call.”
Both entered the relationship following high-profile splits – Perry and actor Orlando Bloom ended their decade-long partnership last summer, while Trudeau separated from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023.
