Katya Jones made a "crystal clear" statement addressing suggestions she was made to feel “uncomfortable or offended” by a moment during Saturday night’s (12 October) Strictly Come Dancing that saw her move Wynne Evans’ hand from her waist.
The professional dancer, 35, posted an Instagram story on Sunday describing how the "hand incident" was a "silly inside joke" she and the opera singer, 52, shared.
“It’s quite absurd actually... Can we focus on how brilliantly he’s doing and what an amazing dancer he’s becoming?" she added.
A Strictly source said the show's welfare team checked in on the pair and there are no further actions planned.
