Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will be in Punjab for the next couple of days, beginning today.

He will be here to firm up the party’s strategy just before the crucial Vidhan Sabha elections, due in a few months.

Official sources say that issues concerning governance, delays in timelines for rolling out government schemes and the performance of various government functionaries will be discussed between Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, and the Punjab affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia.

The visit will begin today with Kejriwal, Mann, and former Delhi CM Atishi visiting the Ambala Jail to meet AAP’s Goa leader Deepak Singha.

He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.

During his stay in Punjab, Kejriwal, along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, will be holding a roadshow in Bathinda, meeting party workers in Jalandhar, and also interacting with the newly elected councillors and Sarpanches in Jalandhar.

It is learned that Kejriwal and Mann would also be holding a meeting with NGO representatives who did exceptional work in flood relief operations last year.
