The National Unity Ministry allocates RM121,000 for post-flood relief in Kelantan, providing cleaning kits and food boxes to affected communities.

MACHANG: The Ministry of National Unity has allocated RM121,000 for a post-flood relief programme in Kelantan this year.

The funds, channelled through the Department of National Unity and Integration, will support 10 Unity Squads across the state’s districts.

State JPNIN director Zarina Zakaria said the initiative will provide 1,320 Rahmah RTCare boxes, cleaning equipment, and community kitchen items.

“The programme aims to assist flood-affected residents in KRT areas by providing manpower and easing their burdens,” she said.

Zarina added that the effort seeks to instil community spirit and encourage support for those impacted by the floods.

Gua Musang Unity Squad chief Nik Akmal Hisham Nik Mohd Yusoff thanked the government for the allocation.

He expressed gratitude for the distribution of essential items and cleaning equipment to affected residents.
