The Kelantan Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is going above and beyond to educate the public on the dangers of “love scams” that lead to blackmail.
Taking to its Facebook page, the police contingent shared a video reel featuring two men, believed to be officers, performing a skit as an online couple, with one of them cross-dressing as a woman.
A cautionary tale of digital intimacy
In the video, the ‘woman’ is seen engaging in an intimate video call with the man, during which ‘she’ undresses. The ‘woman’ then requests that the man follow suit, telling him that it is “his turn.” Immediately after, the skit reveals the trap:
The ‘woman’ begins blackmailing the man, demanding repeated payments of thousands of ringgit to prevent the footage from being exposed.
It transpires that ‘she’ had recorded him undressing during the call. The video concludes with the man visiting a police station to report the incident, though he visibly struggles to do so out of sheer embarrassment.

The creative approach resonated with netizens, many of whom were left amused and praised the Kelantan police for their efforts in producing a hilarious yet educational skit.
