Earlier, WORLD OF BUZZ reported that a bungalow in Kelantan was raided by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for allegedly hosting a “gay sex party.”
During the raid, police managed to detain 20 individuals and seized hundreds of condoms along with HIV medication.

“We’re not against holding meetings”
Following the incident, the Kelantan state government plans to meet with the organisers of the alleged “gay party” to get a clear explanation about the event.
Kelantan Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Dr. Mohamed Fadzli Hassan, said that a meeting with the police is also necessary to avoid misunderstandings, adding that a thorough investigation should be carried out to uncover the actual cause of the incident.
“We’re not against holding meetings and are open to discussions. However, if any programme involves sensitive issues, organisers must first get approval from the relevant authorities such as the police, the Kelantan Islamic Affairs Department, and the Health Department,” he said.
“We’ve never opposed legitimate gatherings”
Mohamed Fadzli added that any programme that goes against the state government’s policies, Islamic values, or the customs and culture of Kelantanese society is unacceptable.
“The state government has never opposed legitimate gatherings or programmes, but the location and timing must be taken into account. In this case, I believe the venue was inappropriate as it was in a village area and the event went on until 2 AM,” he said.
He further stated that the state government will review whether any violations under the Syariah Criminal Code Enactment could warrant legal action against the organisers.
However, he noted that the issues that arose during the event may not have stemmed from the organisers themselves, but rather from certain individuals involved.
