RANAU: A three-day “Kenegaraan Course” for media practitioners organised by the Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia (AKM) concluded last Sunday, leaving a lasting impact on participants from the Sabah State Information Department.

The course, held at the National Training Centre in Kundasang, aimed to cultivate a deep sense of patriotism and love for the nation among the 36 participants.

During the closing ceremony, Sabah Information Director Jainisah Mohd Noor emphasised the importance of preserving and enlivening national identity, a sentiment echoed throughout the course.

“We should continue to strive to preserve and enliven our national identity, as we did from August to September, which was the period when we carried out various programs aimed at raising the spirit of nationalism and love for the country,” she said.
