The announcement was made during the launch of the new Sabah Veterinary Department building here on Thursday by Deputy Chief Minister cum Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan.

The outbreak had affected a farmer in Keningau, with 20 pigs infected and immediate containment measures carried out, including culling and movement restrictions.
