TELUPID: The Sabah Veterinary Services Department (DVS) has strengthened livestock sector development efforts with the launch of its new Telupid office and NDV4 vaccination-cum-awareness programme on Thursday.
Deputy Chief Minister cum Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan said the initiative reflects the State Government’s commitment to expanding veterinary services and rural livestock sustainability, particularly in high-potential areas like Telupid.
Telupid currently has an active livestock population including beef cattle, buffaloes, poultry, pigs, and over 100 registered swiftlet farms supporting the local agri-food economy.
