PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has bagged RM102.6 million worth of new contracts from an indirect unit of Eastern & Oriental Bhd for development works on Andaman Island, Penang.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd secured two contracts from Persada Mentari Sdn Bhd involving piling, earthworks and residential construction works on the island township.
The first contract, valued at RM33 million, involves piling and earthworks works for a development project and is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026 with completion targeted within 12 months.
The second contract, worth RM69.6 million, covers the construction of 28 units of three-storey terrace houses and 18 units of three-storey semi-detached houses, with works expected to begin on Aug 1, 2026 and be completed within 24 months.
The contracts were awarded on an arm’s length basis and based on commercial terms not more favourable than those available to the public.
CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong said the latest awards marked the group’s third contract win in May and reflected continued momentum in the development of Andaman Island.
The group said its FY26 contract wins now stand at RM1.1 billion, while its outstanding order book has risen to approximately RM4.4 billion.
