KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd (KPGB) has secured a RM223 million building contract from Sunway Majestic Sdn Bhd for a development comprising 1,012 small office, home office (SOHO) units in Johor Bahru.
The group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, had accepted the letter of award for the main building works at Lot 4460, Jalan Yahya Awal, Bandar Johor Bahru.
The development will comprise two 34-storey SOHO buildings with 540 and 472 units respectively, alongside a 10-level podium car park, two levels of mezzanine commercial space and two levels of facilities.
Construction is scheduled to commence on Sept 1, 2026 and is expected to be completed within 32 months.
KPGB said the fixed lump-sum contract is expected to provide an additional revenue stream for the group over the next three years and further strengthen its existing order book.
The contract is also expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending 2026 to 2029.
The RM223 million award was received from Sunway Majestic Sdn Bhd, according to a Bursa Malaysia filing.
