Malaysians are touched after a motorcyclist carries an elderly Indian woman across a busy road in Taman Melawati in a heartwarming viral video.
A SIMPLE act of compassion by a motorcyclist in Taman Melawati has warmed hearts across social media after a video showed a motorcyclist carrying an elderly woman across a busy road.
The viral clip, shared on Threads by user @nfellisa, shows the elderly woman struggling to cross the road with the aid of a walker.
A motorcyclist is then seen gently lifting her and carrying her across the road, while another motorcyclist stops traffic to ensure no vehicles pass through. A woman also helps by carrying the elderly woman’s walker to the other side.
In a second video, the woman is seen safely reunited with her walker after reaching the opposite side of the road.
“Thank you, kind people. May all of your affairs be made easy and smooth,” @nfellisa wrote.
The video quickly gained traction online, with thousands of users praising the motorcyclist’s kindness and offering prayers for both him and the elderly woman.

The story took an even more emotional turn when another Threads user claimed to know the woman personally.
The commenter recalled meeting her while sharing a table at Restoran Deen in Taman Melawati because no other seats were available.
“She reminded me so much of my late mother, so we started talking. She spoke while wiping away tears and told me about her life; she had been in an accident, lost her job and had to walk around looking for food, just like in the video,” the commenter wrote.
The user added that her husband booked a Grab ride for the woman after their meal and that she repeatedly expressed her gratitude.
“She speaks fluent Malay, so it was easy to chat with her,” the commenter added.
