
Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has left for a special visit to Saint Petersburg, Russia, at the personal invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
JOHOR BAHRU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, departed for Saint Petersburg, Russia, today for a special visit.
The visit, which will last until Tuesday, was announced on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
It is being made at the special invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The king’s special aircraft took off from the Royal Hangar at Senai International Airport here at 8.25am.
The Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, and Tunku Temenggong Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj, were present to bid farewell to His Majesty.
