HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has expressed his deep appreciation to Malaysia’s security forces and enforcement agencies for their continued dedication during the Aidilfitri period, as many remain on duty while others celebrate with their families.

In a post on his official Facebook page, His Majesty praised the commitment and sacrifice of personnel tasked with maintaining national security, public order and the wellbeing of the people throughout the festive season.

He acknowledged that these officers continue to fulfil their responsibilities despite personal sacrifices, ensuring that the country remains safe and orderly during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

Sultan Ibrahim also offered prayers for their protection and wellbeing, expressing hope that all members of the security services would remain in good health and be granted ease in carrying out their duties.

Earlier, His Majesty granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Istana Bukit Tunku.

At the same time, the King issued a reminder to the public to exercise caution on the roads, particularly as millions travel back to their hometowns for Aidilfitri celebrations.

He urged motorists to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, prioritise safety and drive responsibly in order to prevent accidents and ensure that journeys home remain safe and incident-free. - March 19, 2026
