- The 55-year-old TV host was airlifted to hospital for surgery after her 18-year-old son Oscar ran for help, prompting a joint rescue operation by the RNLI Bude Lifeboat team and Cornwall Air Ambulance.
- Updating her followers a week after surgery, Allsopp revealed her injured leg looks like it has been bitten by a shark, but noted that feeling is returning to her toes as she uses cold compression therapy.
- Despite the injury, Allsopp confirmed that filming for her Channel 4 Christmas show will proceed as planned in October, with production adapted so she can present whilst seated with her leg supported.
