Bob’s Burger, the well-known burger stall that went viral after a visit from American streamer IShowSpeed, has been shut down by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) following a complaint.

In a TikTok story, Bob’s Burger announced that it had to cease operations temporarily and promised to provide updates through WhatsApp.

“Hi guys, Bob’s Burger is temporarily closed after our stall was ‘taken’ by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). We will share the latest updates here and via WhatsApp. Thank you for your continued support,” the post read.

The closure quickly spread across social media after a TikTok user uploaded a video showing that Bob’s Burger was no longer at its original location, prompting fans to speculate about the situation.

IShowSpeed’s Visit

Bob’s Burger, located in Bangsar, gained widespread attention when IShowSpeed, a popular American streamer, visited the stall and paid RM357 for a single burger.

His visit made the stall go viral, drawing a large following both locally and internationally.

“This is so good,” he said in his livestream.

He also rated the burger 9.5/10.

Despite the setback, Bob’s Burger reassured customers that they will be updated on the latest developments soon.
