YouTube star Darren Jason Watkins Jr., better known as iShowSpeed, recently caused a stir in Malaysia during his Southeast Asia tour.
The 19-year-old American streamer, famous for his high-energy and unpredictable content, embraced local culture by trying popular dishes like nasi lemak and durian.
During his visit to a renowned restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, his presence caused such a stir that the establishment had to temporarily close its doors while he dined.

Besides that, an overenthusiastic fan also reportedly pulled out a couple of IShowSpeed’s hair plaits.
Described as “new” and “handpicked from the back of iShowSpeed’s head,” the plaits have been listed for sale with an asking price of RM100,000.
The listing also includes a photo showing a man pulling iShowSpeed’s hair.
However, the authenticity of these listings remains unclear, with some speculating whether they are genuine offers or simply a publicity stunt capitalizing on the viral fame of the American streamer.
