
PETALING JAYA: A school in Kuala Lumpur has confirmed that one of its students died on its premises.
The principal’s office at Kuen Cheng High School said the incident happened yesterday evening and that immediate emergency measures were taken and the authorities notified.
"Despite these efforts, the medical personnel confirmed the student had passed away," it said in a statement.
The office also extended its heartfelt condolences to the student’s family.

It also urged the public not to spread unverified information on the incident.
"An official investigation is in progress and the school is giving its full cooperation. We appreciate your understanding," it said.
