KLIMS 2026 is officially making its return as Malaysia’s flagship automotive and mobility showcase, with the event set to take place at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 under its continuing theme “Beyond Mobility”.

Running from 12 to 21 June 2026, the show will once again take over the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), positioning itself as a central stage where electrification, smart mobility, and sustainable transport trends converge in one place.

This time, however, they will be expanding it beyond a traditional motor show format into a more interactive public experience. Alongside new vehicle showcases and concept reveals, visitors can expect a heavier emphasis on engagement zones such as obstacle-style driving challenges, simulation experiences, and hobby-focused areas designed to bring motorsport culture, car communities, and general audiences into the same space.

The exhibitor lineup also reinforces the scale of the show that spans across 7 halls, with major brands including Perodua, Proton, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan and emerging EV players such as XPENG and Zeekr confirmed as well.

The timing of KLIMS 2026 aligns with the strong momentum of TIV in Malaysia, as the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) mentioned 820,752 units in 2025, and with the ecosystem shifting rapidly towards EVs and greener mobility strategies, the broader direction is clear, but requires government-linked support and industry coordination to push the sector continuously.

Beyond cars, KLIMS 2026 is also leaning into entertainment and lifestyle programming, with collaborations that include music performances, automotive-themed podcasts, car club showcases, and hands-on hobbyist zones. The idea is less about a static exhibition and more about turning MITEC into a multi-day mobility festival that blends industry announcements with consumer-facing experiences.

Registration for KLIMS 2026 is now open, with various promo tickets starting from RM15, with the best option being the Unlimited Access Pass at RM80, usable across all days and all opening hours of the event.
