Kostas Tsimikas missed Liverpool's loss to RB Salzburg on Wednesday due to injury, manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed.
The left-back was absent as Benjamin Sesko scored the only goal of the game for Salzburg.
Asked about the Greece international's absence for the contest with the Austrian side, Klopp told the club's website: "He got yesterday a knock, so he cannot play today.
"And all the rest, we will see later."
Liverpool will face Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on Saturday.
