Leicester City are set to close a deal for AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans.
The Daily Mail says Leicester are close to completing a club-record 40million deal for Youri Tielemans.
The Belgium midfielder starred in a loan spell from Monaco in the second half of last season and Brendan Rodgers has been determined to add him to his squad permanently.
Manchester United and Tottenham have also been interested in Tielemans but Leicester are the only club to commit firmly and negotiations have been advancing towards a conclusion.
The French side set a 40m fee in January, leaving Leicester to opt for a trial run to begin with, but Rodgers was sufficiently impressed to commit to the club's highest fee for a signing.
