
BELURAN: This year’s Unduk Ngadau Beluran contestants were introduced to the rich heritage of the Dusun Labuk community, an initiative to ensure the beauty queens can become true cultural ambassadors.
Held at Butik Ryna Collection in Taman Perumahan Beluran recently, the programme offered hands-on exposure to key elements of Dusun Labuk heritage, including traditional embroidery, crocheting, cuisine, dance, and musical instruments.
The Dusun Labuk are predominantly found in Beluran and Telupid districts.
