
Kota Kinabalu: National junior tennis player Koh Yuna won both the U12 girls singles and doubles titles at the Malaysia Tennis Junior Tour Leg 4 recently.
The event held at Ayer Keroh in Melaka from August 6 to 10, saw the 11-year-old’s hard work and dedication, together with the support of her coaches and parents, pay off handsomely.
Koh, who started playing tennis at the age of eight, is also a member of the national junior tennis team that secured third place in the ATF 12U South East Asia Team competition hosted in Bangkok from June 9 to 13, 2025.
Her next competition is to represent Malaysia alongside other top junior athletes at the ATF U12 Team Final in Singapore.
The tennis fraternity in Kota Kinabalu congratulated Koh, her parents, and coaches, and expressed hope she will continue her success at the upcoming international tournament in Singapore.
