Aston Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa has outlined the improvements they are making over preseason.
The defender is excited about the upcoming Premier League and Conference League campaigns.
However, he admits that many in the squad still have work to do as they familiarize themselves with manager Unai Emery's style of play.
Last season we kept a really high line, so that's something he still wants us to do," he told Sky Sports.
There was a few occasions in pre-season where we kept a high line and got it wrong.
I think in the last game we played against Brentford, we tried to do it, he was onside and I gave away a penalty. so that's still something that we're still learning and trying to perfect.
Another thing is our body shapes as defenders, he likes to do it slightly different to what we're used to, so we're all getting used to it, we're all enjoying it and hopefully come next week, we can keep a clean sheet."
