Incoming Aston Villa signing Kosta Nedeljkovic cannot wait to wear the club's famous shirt.

The teenage full-back is signing from Red Star Belgrade and will then remain with the Serbian side until the summer.

Nedeljkovic would then head to England permanently and join in with Spurs' pre-season training.

"When I started training football, my dream was to play for Red Star, then for the national team and to try out in the strongest league in the world. I expect that by the summer I will achieve that goal of wearing the national team jersey, I hope for an invitation. So I believe that I will fulfill all three goals by the summer," Nedeljkovic told Mozzart Sport.

"This kind of offer from Aston Villa is extremely impressive to me, I am very excited and it means a lot to my self-confidence. I hope that everything will go well in Birmingham when signing the contract, and then I will return to Serbia for the continuation of the season and winning the double crown.

"I have six months to prepare as well as possible, to go there as a mature and ready player, to provide much better games since July. I believe that I will be much better in the Zvezda jersey in the future, than I was in the autumn part."
