Kota Kinabalu: The President of Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KKCCCI), Datuk Michael Lui Yen Sang said it will play an intermediary role to enhance bilateral trade and strengthening business relations between local and foreign companies.
Lui received a courtesy call on Tuesday from Minister-Counsellor (Commercial) of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Paul Sanda and Australian Consul Sabah, Datuk Andrew Shim at his office at Wisma KKCCCI.
Also present were KKCCCI’s Deputy President Datuk Chang Chin Shin JP, Vice Presidents: Andy Lim Chen Kwong, Kapitan Peter Tiew Sii Neng, Lee Nyuk Chong, Lim Young Peing and Executive Secretary Tan Kar Seng.
Paul briefed the KKCCCI on investment and business opportunity in Australia, especially business activities were flourishing well during the post-pandemic.

Paul Sanda hoped of a strong communication with KKCCCI and urged to liaise directly with Datuk Andrew Shim for any enquiry or to get feedback in regard on these matters.
Lui said Sabah and Australia relationship had been traditionally close for many years. Both side exchanged ideas and views on bilateral relation, trade investment as well as education sectors.
Both parties agreed to share useful information, problems and solutions to each other in future in order to further strengthen bilateral ties between both sides.
