The highlight of the evening is the retro-themed gala dinner beginning at 6.30pm, featuring live musical performances, a nostalgic costume contest and an entertaining
“Member & VIP Duet” singing competition.
Attendees will door gifts and stand to win Lucky draw prizes.
Adding an exciting element to the festivities, Regas Premium Sabah displayed its latest line-up of luxury electric vehicles at the venue compound from 5pm.
Journalists and guests have the opportunity to view and test drive premium models including the BMW iX, MINI Cooper SE, BYD Atto 3 Ultra and BYD Sealion 7 Premium before the dinner commenced.
“Following China’s lead where electric vehicles are becoming increasingly prevalent, these EVs represent the future of sustainable transportation,” said a Regas Premium spokesperson.
“By transitioning to electric vehicles powered by clean energy batteries instead of fossil fuels, we can reduce harmful gas emissions and help protect our environment,” she said.
Organising Chairperson Nancy Lai said the annual gathering serves as both a celebration of journalists’ contributions and an opportunity to unwind.
“This is our night to recognise journalism’s vital role while thanking our supporters,” she said.
