Kris Aquino makes surprise 'Eat Bulaga!' appearance to support son Bimby

MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino returned to live television before a studio audience on Thursday, making a surprise appearance on the June 25 episode of “Eat Bulaga!” to support her youngest son, Bimby Aquino Yap, who has been serving as a guest host on the long-running noontime program.

The appearance marked Aquino's first live television guesting with a studio audience this year and drew loud cheers from the crowd as she joined the hosts onstage.

Aquino's visit quickly turned playful as she greeted the cast, particularly longtime child star-turned-host Ryzza Mae Dizon, whom fans have long jokingly linked to Bimby.

"Mag-kiss ka sa future mother-in-law mo (Give your future mother-in-law a kiss)," Aquino quipped, prompting laughter from the hosts and audience alike.

She also complimented Dizon's appearance, saying, "I love you, ang laki ng ginanda mo. I think dahil merong nagpapaganda sa'yo (I love you. You've become so much more beautiful. I think it's because someone is making you glow)."

Aquino then revealed that she had been helping style Dizon's wardrobe.

"Ako ang wardrobe niya. So nung nakita kong may, 'Ay may letter R.' Binili ko agad (I'm the one who does his wardrobe. So when I saw something with the letter 'R,' I immediately bought it)," she said, referring to an outfit she had purchased for the young television host.

Before leaving the stage, Aquino hinted that she would be open to returning to the show in a bigger role.

"Can I guest host next time?" she asked.

Aquino has kept a relatively low public profile in recent years as she continues to manage multiple autoimmune conditions. Bimby, meanwhile, began guest co-hosting “Eat Bulaga!” on June 18.
