Valencia have told Aymen Abdennour to stay away.

Marca says Valencia still own the rights to Abdennour, but they don't want him for their 2019/20 squad and have told him to extend his holiday rather than report for pre-season.

Along with Nacho Gil, he is the only first-team squad member who doesn't have a date to show up for summer training.

The defender still has one year left on his Valencia contract and his salary is above average, so it's a complicated situation for Los Che.

Marseille had him on loan for the past two seasons, but that agreement has ended and Valencia are now trying to find a new club for the Tunisian.
