
POLICE are seeking to trace 36 individuals wanted to assist investigations into a string of serious crimes, including murder, rape, gang robbery, housebreaking, impersonating public servants and sexual harassment.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the suspects are required by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kuala Lumpur contingent in connection with cases investigated under various provisions of the Penal Code and other legislation.
“Among the individuals being traced are Low Lye Huat, Ahmad Nazzer Abd Wahab, Billy Leong Li Sun, Magesan Salva Coma, V Vadivelu Varatharaju, Muhammad Saeful Bahri Imbran and Muhammad Afiq Safine.
“We are also looking for Annannakais Abdul Rahim and Muhd Ammar Haziq Zulkifli, Esvaran Muniandy, Mohd Fadli Saludin, Andry Heriady Nazari, Sateshwaran Jaintheran, Yap Kah Tatt and Nor Azam Jemain,” he said in a statement on Friday.
Fadil added that the list also includes Kartik V Manimaran, Ahmad Budiman Mohamad Rosdi, Ha Kuan Min, Meor Zaini Basir, Low Kiat Soon, Tengku Abdul Muien Tengku Al-Faizzam, Rahimafdzi Abd Rahim, Che Muhamad Faizal Che Hassan, Hamzah Talib and Rosmadi Shafie.
“Police are also tracking Jamil Awang, Kumeresan Ganesan, Ooi Choon Wai, Ravi Kumar Krishnan, Ngai Chan Hong, Mohammad Bhukori, Sarvin Raaj Karthikesu, Sundarasen G. Santhiran, Ibnolhafis Aswad, Muhammad Fikri Ab Jalel and Muhammad Amiruizat Shamsuddin,” he said.
The cases are being investigated under Sections 302, 376, 395, 397, 457, 326, 324, 354, 365 and 170 of the Penal Code, as well as Section 3(1) of the Kidnapping Act 1961 and offences under the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act.
“Members of the public who have any information or who recognise the individuals concerned are urged to come forward to assist in investigations.
