KUNAK: Former People’s Justice Party (PKR) Silam deputy chief, Djapri Kudosat, said the completion of the construction project for the new Sabah State Library (PNS) Kunak Branch building is taking too long.
The project was expected to be completed by September this year.
“This matter needs to be taken seriously by the State Government and relevant ministries because the project is one of the infrastructures that the community has been waiting for a long time,” he said.
A former district Public Works Department (JKR) engineer previously said the construction of the new library building costing RM6.1 million funded by the State Government began on Sept 24, 2021 and was scheduled to be completed by Sept 23 this year.
