SANDAKAN: The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry (Kuskop) aims to continue supporting over 53,000 entrepreneurs in Sabah through its financing and development grants.
Its Minister, Datuk Ewon Benedick, said RM813 million was allocated last year to assist this group.
He added that this year’s allocation might increase depending on applications from small and micro-entrepreneurs for revolving funds.
Kuskop also remains committed to strengthening cooperatives in Sabah through ongoing engagements with related agencies under the ministry.
Ewon spoke at a press conference on Saturday during a Hari Raya Open House hosted by Libaran Upko.
