Manchester City youngster Eric Garcia is ready to help the team in any way he can.
The 18-year-old defender is one of several highly rated youngsters in the City youth setup.
He has played in the Carabao Cup this season, but also says that he can do a job in the Premier League if needed.
City have an injury crisis in defence, which could give Garcia several opportunities in the coming weeks.
"With these games, it helps to be ready if someday I have the opportunity to play," he told reporters after the Carabao Cup victory over Southampton.
"These type of games are the ones that are really helping me.
"Having the centre-backs we have like John, Nico and then Fernandinho can play there, or Rodri did play there and they play really well so I keep working and wait for my opportunity in these kinds of games to prove I can also play."
