Jose Mourinho admits quitting Inter Milan for Real Madrid was about a personal target.
Mourinho says working for Massimo Moratti's Inter was his best time in football as he delivered the club the Treble.
"After the first year in Milan, when I won the 'Scudetto', I understood the passion of the Interisti world. I imagined how the reception could be in Milan for the team after winning the 'Champions'. Inter was a family and saying no to a family is always difficult.
"If I had returned to Milan I would have had to say 'no' to Real Madrid for the third time in a row. But in my mind I wanted to win the English Premier League, Serie A and the Spanish League, and I didn't want to miss that opportunity."
