LABUAN: PAS here has questioned an “outsider” being appointed as Senator to represent the island.
Its Chief Hamir Zahari said: “Is there no local resident qualified for this? How could a non-local holding the position understand the needs of the local folks?”
In his posting in social media, Hamir said it was already a disadvantage that there is no Federal Territories Minister under the Unity Government.
