Organised by Sawit Kinabalu, the event was in its second year, where last year it took place in Kota Kinabalu. Among the 9 teams competing were two teams from each region representing the West Coast, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Sandakan and one team from the Headquarters section.

Bacho said: “Sawit Kinabalu has already decided that the company will continue to hold such activities every year in the hope that the bond of friendship between the company’s employees can be strengthened in addition to fostering enthusiasm and inclusion in the workplace. In fact, at the end of this year, the company will also hold the company’s Annual Sports Festival which will take place in Sandakan.”

According to Bacho, physical and mental health was highly prioritised so that the productivity of staff and workers were guaranteed, thus yielding encouraging results that could benefit everyone.
