The on-demand delivery platform teams up with local NGO Dignity for Children Foundation to donate to 16 families, while users can contribute through Lalamove Rewards

Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, is proud to launch "Moves that Bring You Home" — a regional CSR programme under its Deliver Care initiative, designed to remove logistics as a barrier for NGOs and community partners across multiple markets.

The programme provides delivery solutions for essential community needs, from household relocations to the transport of bulky donations and project materials, offered to qualifying partners at free or subsidised rates.

In Malaysia, Lalamove has teamed up with Dignity for Children Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that delivers holistic care and education to urban poor children in Kuala Lumpur. For this campaign, Lalamove is delivering essential household goods — including cooking oil, white rice, sardines and other daily necessities — to 16 urban families in need. This initiative is part of our ongoing Deliver Care programme, which supports around 70 underprivileged families every month through the delivery of essential aid.

Beyond the donation drive, Lalamove is providing the Foundation with ongoing delivery support and access to a flexible fleet. From motorcycles and vans to large trucks, this support helps to reduce the logistical burden to the Foundation that many NGOs similarly face.

Solving the Last-Mile Problem for NGOs

For many NGOs, the challenge is often twofold: a shortage of consistent donated goods and the cost and complexity of moving them. When bulky items cannot be transported quickly, donations go uncollected and essential supplies are delayed.

Lalamove addresses this directly through on-demand, same-day logistics that match the right vehicle to each job without long lead times or fixed transport arrangements. With reliable delivery support, partner organisations can move items on their schedule, keep projects on track and free up their teams to focus on the people they serve.

“Here in Malaysia, NGOs receive strong support from everyday Malaysians, but many still face hidden challenges such as transportation and logistics. Through our Deliver Care programme, we help bridge this gap by supporting NGOs that are making a meaningful impact in local communities,” said Jane Teh, the managing director of Lalamove.

“With ‘Moves That Bring You Home’, we are extending this commitment further by helping families in need across Kuala Lumpur with essential groceries and household items.”

“This effort is made possible together with our dedicated driver partners, who continue to support the communities they serve,” she added.

How Users Can Contribute

Lalamove is inviting its users to be part of this effort through Lalamove Rewards, the platform's free loyalty programme. Members can donate RM3 to Dignity for Children Foundation for every 600 LalaPoints redeemed. Points are earned on every order placed, with RM1 spent equivalent to 1 LalaPoint.

Funds raised will support the Foundation's operations nationwide, enabling it to provide education, daily nutritious meals, safe transportation and the holistic care children need to break the cycle of urban poverty.
