Landslide: Public vehicles are prohibited from going up to Bukit Jugra

KUALA LANGAT - Road users are not allowed to drive up to Bukit Jugra, Kuala Langat starting from Monday until the end of this year following a landslide in the hillside area.

In a statement the Kuala Langat Municipal Council informed the public that the entry will be closed off to vehicles for two months.

"Effective from Oct 16, repair and maintenance work is being carried out by the Public Works Department, and we are prioritising safety," it stated on its Facebook page.

The local council also reminded visitors who do leisure activities in the area to take care of their safety, and avoid approaching the hillside for the time being.
