
Kota Kinabalu: A large-scale disaster rescue exercise was ointly conducted at Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School, recently.
The programme was co-organised by the school together with Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, District Police Headquarters, Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station, and Lintas Fire and Rescue Station.
Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School Principal Dr Chung Ching Hing said the school not only provided the venue but also ensured the participation of all teachers and students in evacuation and emergency drills.
“The joint effort saw the deployment of three police cars, seven fire trucks, and four rounds of ambulances, along with five observers, and approximately 30 dedicated personnel including police officers, firefighters, doctors, and nurses,” he said in a statement, Wednesday.
