Lazio great Paolo di Canio believes Napoli can successfully defend their Scudetto this season.
Even with Luciano Spalletti stepping down, Di Canio is convinced the champions can win back-to-back Scudetti.
He said, "Well, given what they've done, it's almost an obligation. But also an important opportunity for (Rudi) Garcia. There are the prerequisites for the Azzurri to be able to repeat themselves and do something that has never succeeded in the history of Napoli: winning two championships in a row.
"Repeating in Napoli, with enthusiasm running high and with impressive pressure, it can be even more complicated. But the team has a duty to try even if it won't be easy."
On Rudi Garcia, he says: "I would start by saying that I would have had doubts about anyone who had arrived. I'm just saying that I'm curious to find out as the work progresses. A coach is arriving who I like as an approach, but we had a coach like Spalletti who lived in a manic way Napoli: only overalls, only bikes, always melancholy like a volcano ready to erupt, like Vesuvius.
"Garcia is a good coach and he didn't do badly in Rome either, but perhaps his face is deceiving him: he is always smiling and happy."
