Israeli attacks are continuing in Lebanon despite a renewed attempt to implement the so-far barely effective ceasefire in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday.
There were at least two drone strikes in the morning on different vehicles in the south of the country, NNA reported.
The Israeli military initially did not comment.
Israel and Lebanon agreed again overnight on a path towards implementing the ceasefire. This was dependent on a complete halt to attacks by the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia on Israel, a joint statement said after talks between Israeli and Lebanese government representatives in Washington.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon because of the war continuing since early March.
On Thursday morning, Lebanon's civil defence authority urged people to be patient. They should not return prematurely to their home towns. A return to villages in the south of the country should only take place after corresponding official announcements. There was also still danger from remnants of war and unexploded ordnance.
