Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib, the wife of former Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud, has taken legal action against a private hospital and lodged a police report to counter accusations regarding her husband's medical care. She vehemently refuted recent claims that Taib was "absconded" from the private hospital, describing them as "demonstrably false and deeply concerning."
