LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is welcoming the Year of the Horse with a month-long Lunar New Year celebration that blends festive traditions with hands-on LEGO play. Running from 22 January to 22 February 2026, the celebration invites families to experience Lunar New Year through creativity, colour and shared moments of play.
Inspired by the theme “Garden of Prosperity”, the Resort has been transformed into a vibrant festive landscape filled with glowing red lanterns, blooming cherry blossoms and immersive LEGO creations.
At the centre of the experience stands a striking 2.4-metre LEGO Horse centrepiece, symbolising strength, renewal and good fortune for the year ahead. Inspired by the LEGO 40779 Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac Limited Edition set, the installation also features an auspicious scroll of blessings, making it a standout photo moment for families and LEGO fans.
Brick Build
A key highlight of the celebration is an interactive, park-wide experience that encourages guests to build, play and explore together. Families can pick up an activity card and complete creative challenges across the Resort, unlocking different elements of the Garden of Prosperity along the way. Hands-on activities include Build-A-Horse, LEGO Orange Tree Making, a LEGO Chinese Calligraphy Mural, and the ever-popular Minifigure Trading, offering something for builders of all ages.
From 17 to 22 February 2026, the festivities reach full stride with the Spring Festival Spectacular, a showcase of cultural performances inspired by Lunar New Year traditions. Guests can enjoy lion and dragon dances, acrobatic high-pole acts, traditional drum performances, live oriental music and face-changing shows, alongside daily live performances such as Brick of Prosperity, Lunar Beats Spectacular and Finale of Fortune.
Adding to the festive spirit, Fortune Fest runs from 17 to 22 February, offering guests the chance to win LEGO® sets through lucky draws when dining or shopping at participating outlets within the Resort.
