Launched on 16 August 2026, the attraction recreates Sultan Ibrahim Stadium using more than 400,000 LEGO bricks, combining intricate model-making with animated crowds, dynamic lighting, soundscapes and match-day effects. The result is a miniature stadium that captures something of the atmosphere and energy of a live JDT match.

A New Landmark in MINILAND

The addition marks another evolution of LEGOLAND Malaysia’s MINILAND, where iconic landmarks, cityscapes and cultural stories from Malaysia and the wider region are reimagined in LEGO.

More than a scaled-down replica, the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium model pays tribute to JDT’s success and its significance to Johoreans and football supporters across the region. Interactive elements and carefully crafted details allow visitors to discover the stadium from a new perspective while experiencing the Southern Tigers’ home ground through LEGO’s playful lens.

“At LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, MINILAND celebrates the stories, cultures and achievements that define the nation and the wider region,” said Cs Lim, Vice President of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. He described the stadium as a milestone for MINILAND, bringing together immersive storytelling, interactive features and innovative LEGO building techniques.

For JDT, the collaboration offers another way to share the club’s story. “Sultan Ibrahim Stadium represents much more than a football venue – it is a symbol of Johor’s ambition, unity and passion,” said Alistair Edwards, Chief Operating Officer of JDT.

Where Football Meets Family Fun

The new attraction brings together two distinctly different forms of fandom: football and LEGO. For JDT supporters, it offers a playful new way to celebrate the club, while families and international visitors can discover an important part of Johor’s sporting identity.

To mark the launch, LEGOLAND Malaysia has also introduced an Exclusive Limited-Edition Annual Pass & Rewards, inspired by design elements from Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, alongside special engagement activities connecting the LEGOLAND and JDT communities.

The MINILAND Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is now part of the resort’s permanent collection of regional landmarks, giving visitors another reason to look beyond the pitch and explore Johor through LEGO.
