Leicester boss Enzo Maresca has emerged as a very serious option for Chelsea.
The Premier League giants are hoping to make a quick appointment to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
After the Argentine was given his marching orders, The Sun and other outlets have linked Maresca to the Stamford Bridge club.
The former Manchester City assistant does have a 8.5 million release clause in his contract.
The Blues are also being linked to Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna and recently departed Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
There is no suggestion whether Chelsea have a particular preference between these candidates.
