Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers admits their clash with Brighton is emerging as critical.

Leicester are looking to halt a run of four straight Premier League defeats.

Rodgers said: "It's our job to inspire the supporters. We need to provide a performance to get them excited. But vice-versa, Leicester City is at its best when there's that tightness between them and the team.

"It starts with us though. For us, it's so important now to be together, that solidarity. We can only do it together. This is a new game, a new opportunity for us. Let's go and attack the game and hopefully get the result."

On James Maddison, he added: "He's doing very well, so we're hoping he can be involved in the squad. He's not featured since the West Ham game, before the World Cup.

"Just seeing him on the pitch this week, he's such a gift as a player. The confidence he gives other players, that's when you know you've got a great player. Then it's just a case of picking the right moments to put him in."
