Leicester City hero Robbie Savage says manager Brendan Rodgers should stay.

Savage has implored his former club to stick with the manager.

The 49-year-old has come under pressure following his side's poor start to the season. The goalless draw with Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium on Saturday means that they have just one win from ten.

"They were working hard and were the better side. They've kept two clean sheets in the last two home games," Savage told BT Sport.

"But results dictate what happens to a manager. He just needs a couple of wins, but from where are those wins going to come?

"If you lose against Leeds and then lose at Wolves, I think he's in massive trouble. He's probably in trouble now, but I've never said 'sack a manager', because I know what it's like being part of a football club when a manager is losing games. I'd never sit on a sofa and say a manager should be sacked.

"The question is: if they were to get rid of Brendan Rodgers who would come in who knows those players right now? Stick with the manager."
