PENAMPANG: The number of participants of the State-level “Lets Read Together for 10 Minutes at the Library” programme has increased from 101,126 in 2016 to 449,631 in 2022.

State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif is confident that the numbers would continue to grow as the national Malaysia Madani (civilised) concept demands knowledge.

“Reading is a wondrous virtue that determines the future of a country. Civilisation cannot be attained without knowledge and knowledge cannot be attained without reading,” he said.
