Lexus signs on as automotive partner of the tournament for the fifth year
Lexus is celebrating its fifth consecutive year as the official automotive partner of the HSBC Women’s World Championship (HWWC) 2025, marking an exciting milestone in the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. By partnering with organizations that share its vision of a greener future, Lexus is helping drive change in the world of sports.
Only The Best
The HWWC, one of Asia’s premier golf tournaments, will take place in Singapore from 27 February to 2 March 2025, at the iconic Sentosa Golf Club. The event returns to the Tanjong Course, recognized as one of the world’s most sustainable golf clubs, and named “Asia’s Best Eco-Friendly Golf Facility” at the 2024 World Golf Awards.
With an ambitious goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2040, Sentosa has transitioned to a fleet of eco-friendly lithium-ion battery-powered golf carts, further enhancing its commitment to sustainability. This eco-conscious approach aligns seamlessly with Lexus’ own goals of carbon neutrality by 2030 and a broader focus on electrification.
Electrifying Fun
The brand’s expanding lineup of electrified vehicles, designed to meet the luxury needs of modern customers, is a testament to its dedication to reducing environmental impact. This year’s championship will feature a star-studded field, including 2024 champion Hannah Green, who will defend her title after a dramatic victory in the previous tournament.
Green narrowly defeated France’s Celine Boutier by one stroke, closing with a final-round 67 and three birdies in the last three holes to claim her fourth LPGA title. In celebration of the event’s spirit of excellence, Lexus will once again present the Hole-In-One award, offering the chance to win a luxurious all-electric Lexus RZ450e SUV.
Innovation First
This cutting-edge vehicle, equipped with advanced DIRECT4 technology and a lithium-ion battery, embodies the same attention to detail and commitment to innovation that defines the tournament.
At the HWWC, attendees can look forward to a range of engaging activities at the Lexus booth in the fan village, with exciting prizes up for grabs. With this partnership Lexus once more continues to inspire the future of golf through its Lexus Cup regional competition, expanding access to the sport across Asia.
