Kota Kinabalu: The Unity Government of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim once again showed its sincere concern for Sabah and Sarawak, said Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
Its President Datuk Chin Su Phin said the increase in allocations for the two states as reflected in Budget 2024 will surely help further boost developments in East Malaysia.
He said the budget announcement demonstrated the government’s commitment to ensure the entire nation enjoys balanced development.
In addition, he said the Federal Government also delegated the authority to implement development projects under RM50 million to technical agencies of Sabah and Sarawak in an effort to enhance the efficiency of the implementation, as well as to provide more jobs and create more economic opportunities in the community.
